Kenn
Visser has played a role in the international beverage industry for more
than 30 years. From wine to water, Kenn's career has inserted his
involvement in most segments of the industry from product concept and
development through successful brand deployment in domestic and global
markets.
During
the 1980’s Kenn successfully developed and managed two of the largest
vineyard operations in British Columbia, Canada. Kenn’s industry
achievements and innovative marketing initiatives were instrumental in his
election to the British Columbia Grape Marketing Board in 1987.
Kenn served as a Director of the Board for two years and as a marketing
consultant to the organization for an additional year. From 1989
through 1991, Kenn, along with Schramsberg Associates International of the
Napa Valley, designed and participated in one of the most extensive wine and
viticultural R&D projects ever undertaken in British Columbia. The
results of that three-year effort continue to influence the evolution of the
British Columbia premium wine industry today.
From
1992 through 1996, Kenn developed and managed a franchised home & office
bottled water venture; Water Pure & Simple while also serving as a
Director of the Canadian Bottled Water Association. The Company
successfully developed forty franchised operations with seventeen bottled
water production facilities. Serving over 25,000 customers Water Pure
& Simple had the largest market reach in the Province at that time.
Based upon its success, Water Pure & Simple was acquired by Culligan of
Canada in 1997.
Intrigued
by the concept of Super-Oxygenated water and functional beverages, Kenn joined
the management team of Life International Products, Inc. in 1997. As
Vice President, Kenn was responsible for the development, implementation and
management of all beverage strategies. Life O2 was successfully
positioned and packaged as the “worlds’ first performance water” leading
to 22 domestic and international production and distribution licenses,
including nation-wide distribution of the first O2 water in Japan that is
still a market leader today.
Since
2002, Kenn has collaborated with a network of international business
associates to provide strategic advice and consulting services to established
and early stage beverage companies seeking international distribution and
brand representation.
